Describing a Character

This term I have been learning to describe a character:
Success Criteria:
  • use describing words
  • use language features e.g. similes and alliteration,
  • use my senses (see, hear, feel,)
  • hook the reader into feeling what the character was like

Little Red Riding Hood is a little girl.  She lives with her mum near a forest.  Her hair is long and dark.  She wears a red cloak over her head and shoulders.  She is nice, kind and helpful.  She loves flowers and took some to her Grandma in her basket.

Reflection:  I could use some describing words.  It was a bit hard for me trying to write the words down.

Well done Payton, you settled to work well and completed your writing with support from me. I like the way you could think of words to describe her hair , her cloak and her character. Keep trying hard to use describing words.
